We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Midwife to join our team in providing exceptional patient care in the SCN & NICU department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality midwifery care to women of varying ages and cultural backgrounds.
- Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with women, their families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Supervise and guide junior nurses and undergraduate midwives in the provision of midwifery care.
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
The Early Parenting Unit offers outpatient day programs and residential inpatient stays for families who require support following the arrival of a new baby and throughout their first year.
The unit is staffed by a highly qualified team of Obstetricians, Paediatricians, Psychiatrists, Midwives, Nurses, physiotherapists, all with extensive experience supporting families and their infants.
The hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Melbourne's north, offering a wide range of surgical, medical, maternity, and mental health care for its patients.
About You- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- Working with Children check (if relevant).
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Highly developed clinical skills in maternity services: antenatal/birth suite/postnatal care.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adaptable and flexible approach to work practice.
