At TOMRA, we're committed to transforming the way we interact with our environment. As a Field Service Technician, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our pioneering Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) and bulk processing equipment in the Perth Metropolitan area.

This is a highly autonomous position that requires strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in relation to mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment. You'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining installed equipment, reporting on service assignments and faults, and installing kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites.

To be successful in this role, you'll need a Certificate III level qualification in a trade (Electrical or Mechanical) or proven experience that relates directly to the work carried out. You'll also need to have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a clean driving record.

As a Field Service Technician, you'll have the opportunity to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends. You'll be part of a team that's passionate about creating a sustainable future and making a positive impact on the environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining installed equipment
  • Reporting on service assignments and faults
  • Installing kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites
  • Providing excellent customer service to our partners and members of the public
  • Analyzing areas of potential improvement of products and reporting to local service team
  • Undertaking cleaning of equipment

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III level qualification in a trade (Electrical or Mechanical) or proven experience that relates directly to the work carried out
  • Previous experience interacting face-to-face with customers on site
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in relation to mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment
  • Experience in troubleshooting electronic equipment and ability to replace circuit boards, sensors, and other electronic components
  • Unrestricted driver's license and willingness to submit a full driving history record
  • Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
