**About the role**
- Work from the workshop in Belmont and throughout the metro industrial areas
- Assisting in carrying out overhead crane service inspections and repair
- Assisting in installing and commissioning of new, overhead cranes
- Building Switchboards
- Preparing and submitting reports for service works carried out
- Strong adherence to safety procedures and processes

**Statewide Overhead Cranes (SOCS) specialises in**

Currently seeking an Apprentice Electrical Fitter based in the Belmont area. Work will predominantly be in the field around the greater Perth area, however workshop based work is also included.

You will work closely with our technicians assisting with the repair & maintenance of a variety of overhead cranes.

Perhaps your looking to move from your current trade into Electrical or have started an apprenticeship previously and want to pick it up again. We can deliver this opportunity you’ve been looking for. You just need to bring your passion to learn a trade and ability to start working straight away.

**Required Skills**:

- Current Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
- National Police Clearance
- Very strong focus on Safety & Excellent time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated to succeed and learn new skills
- Ability to work at heights

**Desirable**
- Prior experience with a mechanical or electrical trade will be advantageous
- White Card

**Salary**: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
