Plant and Equipment Valuer Opportunity

We seek an experienced professional to undertake national valuations of diverse assets, offering autonomy in client management, inspections, calculations, and reporting.

  1. Valuing equipment for various purposes, including sales, leasing, and insurance.
  2. Managing multiple large projects efficiently to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
  3. Traveling intrastate, nationally, and internationally for client commitments, leveraging industry expertise to drive business growth.
  4. Maintaining key relationships with clients and stakeholders, fostering trust and delivering exceptional results.
  5. Providing expert advice on valuation methodologies and approaches, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  6. Exercising excellent time management and organizational skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  7. Developing strategies to grow client relationships and expand the portfolio, identifying opportunities for business expansion.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, driven individual eager to expand valuation skills across diverse industries and clients, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding expectations.

Requirements:
  1. AAPI, ASA, or RICS qualification, demonstrating expertise in plant and equipment valuation.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in plant and equipment valuations, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  3. Experience across multiple industries such as manufacturing, power, oil & gas, food processing, with a strong understanding of industry-specific requirements.
  4. Experience with insurance or financial reporting valuations is advantageous, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  5. Growth mindset and proficient Excel skills, with a strong ability to analyze complex data and provide insights.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate with stakeholders.
  7. Logical, analytical, and methodical thinking, with a strong ability to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  9. Availability to travel nationally, with a strong willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
