Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Job Title:
Equipment Maintenance SupervisorWe are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our shop functions, field service activities, and delivery or vehicle operations.
The ideal candidate will have supervisor experience and possess a valid driver's license and Forklift Certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling customer inquiries and providing technical guidance
- Assisting in the appraisal and quotes of repair work coming into the shop
- Scheduling shop assignments, field service work, and truck requirements for pickup and delivery of equipment
- Processing warranty claims
- Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet schedules and deadlines
Additionally, the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor will:
- Supervise all shop activities when the Service Manager is away from the Branch
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and regulations
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, as well as write reports and procedure manuals. They will also have strong mathematical skills and the ability to solve practical problems.
Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License
- Supervisor experience
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with one-year post-high school education in heavy equipment or two years mechanical experience as a service technician
- A 2-year degree and familiarity with industrial equipment, such as construction or forestry equipment
