Job Description

We are seeking a visionary data management leader to establish and drive our Master Data Management function. As the head of this critical initiative, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy, roadmap, and success metrics to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement an MDM strategy tailored to our business needs, incorporating best practices and industry standards.
  • Establish governance structures, policies, and standards for managing master data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align master data requirements with enterprise-wide initiatives, fostering a culture of data-driven decision making.
  • Lead the selection and deployment of MDM tools and technologies, leveraging innovative solutions to enhance data quality and efficiency.
  • Build and mentor a team of data stewards and analysts to support ongoing MDM operations, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Drive data quality initiatives, including profiling, cleansing, and validation, to ensure high-quality data assets.
  • Ensure integration and consistency of master data across systems and platforms, minimizing data silos and errors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or related roles, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of MDM principles, data lifecycle management, and data quality frameworks, with expertise in data modeling and metadata management.
  • The ability to translate business needs into scalable data strategies, leveraging agile methodologies and collaborative approaches.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
