Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Develop a Team: Foster a high-performance culture and lead a team of supervisors to ensure effective pre-op management and compliance with hygiene standards.
  • Oversee Pre-Op Tasks: Ensure compliance with hygiene standards and oversee pre-op tasks, including stock checks, chemical management, and cleanliness of utensils.
  • Manage Wash Bay Operations: Coordinate with Quality Assurance for smooth handovers and ensure efficient wash bay operations.
  • Supervise Daily Operations: Supervise daily stock checks, chemical management, and cleanliness of utensils, as well as maintain safety documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with QA: Work with Quality Assurance on environmental testing and waste management improvements.
  • Handle Team Timesheets: Manage team timesheets and drive hygiene compliance.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Manufacturing or related fields, along with certificates in Food Processing, Commercial Cookery, or Food Safety.
  • Leadership Experience: Leadership experience in FMCG or high-volume environments, and familiarity with Food Safety practices, HACCP, and WH&S principles.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide your team.
  • Clear Communication: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze problems and make quick, efficient decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience working with various stakeholders.
  • Resilience and Professionalism: High levels of resilience, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
