We are seeking a reliable and skilled Freight Handler to join our team. As a Freight Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight using manual and mechanical means.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position offering long-term job security at a leading hard-rock underground mining company. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance their career in a dynamic and growth-oriented industry.

The role involves assisting with daily stores duties, including goods receiving, stocktaking, and stock control processes. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily loading and unloading of freight using manual and mechanical means.
  • Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support daily stores duties, including goods receiving, stocktaking, and stock control processes.
Requirements:
  • Valid Forklift Licence (essential).
  • Valid Australian HR Drivers Licence.
  • National Police Clearance (valid within six months).
  • Underground mining experience (preferable).
