About this Key Role

This position plays a pivotal part in our Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) obligations and supports us in progressing from DISP Level 2 to Level 3 for Personnel Security (PERSEC) and Governance.

Successful candidates will work independently, possess a strong understanding of security vetting, and be confident in maintaining compliance with government security frameworks.

  • Developing and sustaining security vetting governance, policies, and processes.
  • Supporting the transition from Level 2 to Level 3 within the DISP uplift program.
  • Ensuring QinetiQ maintains compliance with DISP and AGSVA requirements.
  • Managing security registers, compliance reporting, and assurance activities.
  • Providing expert security vetting advice to projects and functional teams.
  • Collaborating with Talent Acquisition to oversee staff security clearances.

We seek individuals who have:

  • A deep knowledge of AGSVA processes and requirements.
  • Experience with government security frameworks such as PSPF, DSPF, and Australian Privacy Principles.
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage both straightforward and complex tasks.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.

Security clearance at NV2 level or eligibility to obtain is mandatory.
