Job Title:

Food and Beverage Team Leader

Job Description:
  • As a Food and Beverage Team Leader, you will deliver a personalized service to guests, in line with the established policies and procedures of the outlet.
  • You will support the Leadership team by encouraging and developing the team to deliver branded service, while promoting the desired work culture.
Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor rosters to ensure all shifts are covered and make adjustments where necessary.
  2. Order inventory based on par levels as prescribed by the Manager, assist in inventory-taking as required and resolve discrepancies.
  3. Ensure team adhere to guidelines for presentation, grooming and punctuality.
  4. Develop and maintain cohesive working relationships within immediate team, and wider hotel team.
  5. Attend and participate in daily briefings, meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
  6. Supervise employees under your responsibility for the shift, ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained.
  7. Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of Food and Beverage Service Experience.
  • Must be available in the evenings.
  • Friendly Personality.
  • Effective Communication skills.
  • Strong Time management skills, delegation and drive for results.
  • Neat Personal Presentation.
