We are seeking a seasoned marketing strategist to spearhead our expansion into the dynamic markets of China and Southeast Asia. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for building brand presence and driving growth across these regions.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we navigate the ever-changing digital landscape in Asia. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative strategies that resonate with local audiences while aligning with our global brand vision.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop regional campaigns: Craft and execute end-to-end marketing initiatives tailored to China and Southeast Asia, focusing on awareness, engagement, and conversion.
- Social media & digital platforms: Manage and grow our online presence on platforms like WeChat, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and X, ensuring culturally relevant content.
- Market research & insights: Analyze consumer trends, competitor activity, and cultural nuances to inform actionable marketing strategies.
- Content creation & localization: Develop compelling stories, visuals, and video content adapted to each market, balancing brand consistency with local preferences.
- Influencer & KOL partnerships: Identify and collaborate with key opinion leaders and influencers across the region to amplify brand reach and credibility.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product, creative, and sales teams to deliver integrated campaigns supporting both regional and global objectives.
- Performance & analytics: Monitor campaign effectiveness using KPIs such as ROI, conversion rates, and engagement, making data-driven adjustments for maximum impact.
- Experience: 3+ years in marketing, with a proven track record in China or Southeast Asia markets, particularly in digital and social media campaigns.
- Cultural fluency: In-depth understanding of consumer behavior and cultural dynamics in China and/or Southeast Asia, with hands-on knowledge of local platforms.
- Creative & strategic: Ability to balance data-driven decision-making with innovative ideas that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Collaborative mindset: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work across cultures, time zones, and functions.
- Tech & tools: Comfortable with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, WeChat Business Suite, Hootsuite).
- Proficiency in another Asian language is highly regarded.
