Job Summary:
">This exciting opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join our small and supportive team as a Senior Financial Administrator. The role involves undertaking a range of accounting activities, including providing support to the Financial Accountant to ensure business needs are met and core functions are performed effectively.
">About Us:
">The Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) is an independent statutory body that plays a central part in maintaining the integrity of the NSW health system. We aim to provide a system of complaints handling which is customer-focused, accessible, responsive, transparent and accountable.
">Responsibilities:
">The successful candidate will have the skills to be able to:
">- ">
- Provide appropriate support to the Financial Accountant to ensure business needs are met and core functions are performed effectively.">
- Maintain knowledge of accounting standards, government policy and legislation to deliver best practice accounting.">
- Manage relationships and responsibilities across other Divisions within the Commission in an environment of different workloads and priorities.">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will have:
">- ">
- A good understanding of accounting covering accounts payable and receivables, general ledger reconciliations and key elements in an Income Statement, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements.">
- A minimum of 2 years or have completed a graduate program in accounting or business.">
- Team player with good communication skills">
- High attention to detail, excellent time management skills and a proactive approach">
- A positive attitude and be a keen learner.">
What We Offer:
">We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $101,947 - $112,849, plus superannuation and annual leave loading. You will also have access to wellbeing programs, including a discounted fitness passport program, and great training and learning opportunities.
