We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Events and Venue Manager to join our team and lead our events and restaurant operations to new heights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Events Management
    • Develop and implement event strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance customer experience
    • Manage event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and audiovisual requirements
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
  • Restaurant Operations
    • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision
    • Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform menu engineering and pricing strategies
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of events and restaurant staff
    • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
  • Revenue Growth
    • Identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities through local area marketing and innovative ideas
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and drive revenue growth
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and optimize revenue streams
    Requirements
    • Proven experience in events and venue management, preferably in a high-volume nightlife environment
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and inform business decisions
    • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate for NSW
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Demonstrated success in managing events in a high-volume establishment
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences
    • Strong knowledge of liquor licensing regulations and industry standards
