About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and personable Assistant Venue Manager to join our team at Queensland Museum Kurilpa. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee a successful café and a range of functions and events on-site
  • Lead the front of house team
  • Deliver great customer service to regular patrons and guests
  • Maintain and enhance positive relationships between back and front of house teams
Requirements
  • Prior experience managing a busy and successful venue and events
  • Proven time management skills
  • Innovative approach to food & Beverage operations
  • Strong barista skills, a must
  • A high achieving approach with the ability to guide, drive and mentor a team of staff
  • Friendly personality, with a focus on providing top level customer service
  • A passion for the hospitality industry
  • Valid RSA
  • Full Australian work rights
