The Warehouse Operator is a vital position responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, receiving, storing, and dispatching goods in a safe and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities- Reporting Incidents: Report any major injury hazards or incidents immediately.
- Compliance: Comply with health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations.
- Teamwork: Promote interdependence by looking out for colleagues' well-being.
- Hazard Control: Correct hazards within your control and capabilities.
- Training: Engage in regular health, safety, and environmental training.
- Inventory Management: Accurately sort, label, package, and store goods to optimize warehouse space.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices.
- Non-Conforming Material: Identify and control non-conforming material.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with the assigned team and support teams.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks.
- Licenses and Certifications: Forklift License required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Detailed Work: High attention to detail is essential.
- Autonomy and Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Physical Demands: Physical fitness to lift heavy objects.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt.
