The South Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking a compassionate and dedicated healthcare professional to join their team at Liverpool Hospital's Sexual Health department. As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with patients, families, carers, and a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, person-centred care that empowers individuals. Your role will involve promoting culturally responsive practices, assessing clinical needs, and shaping workplace culture to create a positive environment for both internal and external communities.

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant speciality
  • Ability to provide safe, compassionate, quality care that is culturally responsive
  • Effective communication and engagement skills to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs
  • Capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner, and personally resolve conflicts when they arise
  • Evidence of critical thinking in the delivery of evidenced-based nursing care
  • Understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety, and quality improvement in the workplace
