We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Equipment Technician to join our team.
About the roleThe successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical components across a range of stationary assets such as crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, and processing systems.
This includes carrying out inspections, repairs and installations on crushers, conveyors, pumps and processing systems, executing scheduled work orders and recording accurate maintenance history in SAP, identifying faults and providing input into root cause analysis and reliability improvements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and maximise production.
About you
- You will have experience working in a Fixed Plant mining or heavy industrial environment
- Fault finding and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems is an essential skill
- You will demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration with operations and engineering teams
- A commitment to site standards and safety protocols is a must
- A recognised trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering - Fitter (Cert III)
