The position of Horticultural Operations Manager has become available due to the growth of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the garden and maintenance program operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing cleaning and gardening team members effectively in accordance with operational requirements.
- Quoting and estimating jobs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintaining the highest standards of garden planting and maintenance through quality control.
- Operating platform systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing contractors and service schedules to minimize downtime and maximize plant performance.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in horticulture, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with people at all levels.
- High-level computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with experience in continuous improvement methods.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct team members.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive remuneration package, including:
- An attractive salary range of $90,000 - $99,000 per year.
- A vehicle, phone, and laptop provided for work-related purposes.
- Excellent working conditions, with a focus on service excellence and growth.
