About the Position

The University seeks a distinguished Professor in Exercise Science to lead its Discipline of Exercise and Sport Science. This is a senior academic leadership position that demands vision, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the Discipline's research profile, teaching excellence, and community engagement. They will lead the development of innovative curriculum programs, establish and maintain strategic partnerships, and mentor early-career academics.

Key Requirements
  • A doctoral qualification in Exercise Science or a related field.
  • An outstanding record of research achievement, including international recognition and external funding success.
  • Demonstrated leadership in research development, supervision of higher degree students, and mentoring of junior academics.
  • Proven ability to establish and sustain partnerships across industry, government, and community sectors.
  • Strong contributions to innovative curriculum development and teaching aligned to external accreditation standards.
