Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/Project Director to lead our Project Management Team and undertake project management roles on various infrastructure projects in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing civil infrastructure projects for government and contractor clients, with a strong commercial background and contract management skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership to the team, maintaining commercial awareness, driving project performance, and ensuring client satisfaction. They will also cultivate strategic relationships, mentor team members, and support business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Project Management Team and provide direction and advice to achieve company goals.
  • Maintain commercial awareness and drive project performance, service delivery, and commercial outcomes.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through effective project reviews and proactive communication.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships and resolve high-level issues to ensure project success.
  • Mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential.
Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a seasoned project management professional with a strong fit to our leadership success profile. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience managing projects in a consultancy environment for government and contractor clients.
  • A sound commercial background, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures.
  • A recognized degree or equivalent qualification in a technical field such as engineering or project management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team.
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering excellent results.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
