Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Coordinator to join their team in Sydney. This is a permanent opportunity.

Wealth management services, including financial planning, margin lending and managed funds investments, are provided by our client, a leading Australian stockbroker.

The Client Services & Dealer Assistant role requires the ability to confidently deal with Private Client Advisors and their clients in a high volume, time critical environment.

Desirable experience includes stockbroking or wealth management, client services, desk assistant or equity operations roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist advisors in the development, preparation and implementation of financial advice and investment proposals efficiently and accurately.
  • Support advisors in servicing and maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Provide superior client service, building strong relationships by responding quickly and appropriately to client requests.
  • Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of current relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the business proactively.
  • Ensure efficient stock settlements and transfer of funds, providing clients with relevant information.
  • Manage client relationships and communication processes, ensuring regular contact and a professional service.
  • Provide administration support to the Investment/Financial Advisory team efficiently.
  • Initiate new client processes, arranging paperwork and gathering identification documents.
  • Undertake mailing duties, opening and distributing incoming mail, and facilitating bulk mail-outs.
  • Maintain filing systems according to compliance criteria.
  • Reconcile expense statements and receipts.
  • Assist with documentation processes, including managed funds and IPO application forms.
  • Draft correspondence for routine matters.
  • Provide reports for investments to clients and third parties as required.
  • Cover duties for other Team Assistants when they are on leave.
  • Other ad-hoc administrative responsibilities.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in equity markets, from operations, Client Services or similar Desk Assistant / Adviser Assistant / Dealer assistant roles.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in a banking-related discipline.
  • RG 146 qualification (preferred) or willingness to study.

Salary:$80,000 - $90,000 per annum
