No prior experience or qualifications are required to enroll in our trainee program.
About the Role- Provide personalized care services, including showering, dressing, and grooming for residents.
- Assist with daily tasks, such as bed making, room tidying up, feeding, and setting tables and meals for residents.
- Participate in social activities, build rapport, and work with a range of clients and other staff.
- A guaranteed minimum of 15 hours per week (part-time).
- A set 24-month contract for the traineeship, with locked-in shifts on negotiated days and hours agreed to by you during recruitment.
- Support from a workplace Buddy/Mentor who will work with you to train you on the job and provide guidance and support.
- Ongoing support from the Facility Leadership Team, Learning and Development Team, Registered Training Organisation, and Ternary throughout your full traineeship.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Be reliable and dependable.
- Be willing to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to pass a National Police Check.
- Hold valid working rights in Australia and reside in Australia.
- Must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen to access State Funding for the training.
- Regular availability to work morning shift 6:30am to 2:30pm, afternoon shift 2:30pm to 10:00pm, and attend training 9:30am to 4:30pm.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 3 days a week, Monday to Friday.
