Aboriginal Case Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Aboriginal Advanced Case Manager to join our team in Broadmeadows.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in reducing the overrepresentation of Aboriginal people in the criminal justice system.

  • This is a full-time, ongoing position offering a salary banding of $97,955 - $111,142 plus superannuation.
About the Role

This position involves managing a caseload of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal individuals to deliver evidence-based best practices in case management.

  • Developing and implementing cultural support plans for Aboriginal persons
  • Evaluating factors related to individual offending behavior and providing individualized risk assessments
  • Providing advice to senior management and community-based teams on effective case management of Aboriginal persons
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with members of the Victorian Aboriginal Community.

You should also have knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Aboriginal Community and its issues.

Additionally, you will be able to implement theoretical concepts to reduce risk and maximize individual outcomes, and seek opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
