The IT Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the secure operation of telecommunications and network hardware and software components.
To excel in this position, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent in the Federal service, military or private sector. This includes:
- Coordinating security programs across IT platforms
- Applying IT concepts and principles
- Managing information systems
Key responsibilities include making technical judgments on system compliance, conducting risk assessments, and managing the Enterprise continuous monitoring vulnerability management program.
In addition to technical expertise, successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills and be able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
