We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding, with experience in coordinating transport processes and ensuring compliance with regulations.
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for preparing and executing freight negotiations, organizing inland and airfreight shipments, and taking over entire communication with overseas parties.
In addition, the successful candidate will be required to conduct continuous training and familiarization of new colleagues or team members, check and approve incoming invoices, track and trace freight to destination, and perform general dispatch processing including customer service.
Requirements- Minimum 3-5 years of Freight Forwarding experience required
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Passing the IATA Dangerous Goods by Air, Excluding Radioactive Cat 3 will be required
- Understanding of TACT and IATA rules and regulations
- Experience in working in different time zones and different cultures
- Computer skills - MS Windows 7, MS Office
