We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Broker Assistant to join our Debt Advisory team in Melbourne. As a Mortgage Broker Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting senior brokers by ensuring a seamless loan process for clients from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating communication between clients and key stakeholders, managing essential documentation, and handling various administrative tasks to contribute to successful client outcomes. You will receive hands-on guidance from senior brokers, enabling you to expand your industry knowledge while developing your administrative and client relationship management skills.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Help guide clients through the mortgage process, addressing queries and providing regular updates.
  • Handle documentation, perform financial assessments, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance or business (preferred)
  • Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management (or willing to obtain)
  • Exposure to property, mortgage broking, banking, or financial services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first attitude
  • Strong organisation skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the mortgage industry
