Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Safety and Training Coordinator to join our team.

The key responsibility of this role is to harmonise Workplace Health and Safety, Training and Assessment for the wire mill including preparation and updating of site documentation, training records and presentation packages.

This will involve:

  • Managing training requirements and associated activities using existing systems
  • Coordinating assessments with stakeholders and ensuring timely recording of outcomes
  • Developing relevant training materials and packages
  • Providing guidance on risk assessments, safety communications and incident investigations
  • Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and reviewing their effectiveness

You will work collaboratively with colleagues across sites to achieve shared objectives.

Key skills required for this position include a strong understanding of legislative requirements, excellent organisational and communication skills, and experience in heavy industry.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Cert 4 in Training and Assessing
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business

Desirable qualifications include Cert 4 in Work, Health and Safety and experience in manufacturing/operations.
