Event Experience Manager

The Role

Join our team in delivering exceptional event experiences to our members and guests. As an Event Experience Manager, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating events from start to finish.

This role requires impeccable attention to detail, ensuring seamless execution of events and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance as required to the Functions team
  • Manage incoming leads and enquiries, including venue and function room tours
  • Follow up on events and manage feedback processes
  • Assist with set up and packing down events, as well as operational support as needed
  • Evaluate and maintain function spaces
  • Ensure exceptional food and beverage service is consistently delivered to valued customers
  • Liaise with the functions and events team to ensure they have a thorough understanding of function requirements
  • Manage and deal with customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Coach new and existing function staff to maintain high standards
  • Conduct competitor analysis to stay relevant in the events market
  • Convert sales leads into revenue-generating events
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and corporate partners

Requirements

  • Previous experience in functions and events sales and operations
  • Proficiency in Event Pro or similar event software is preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Determination to maintain high standards and exceed customer expectations
  • Ability to inspire and lead teams to deliver exceptional events
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • Immaculate presentation and grooming standards
  • Physical ability to set up and breakdown function room furniture as required
  • Able to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment
  • Proven accuracy with cash and transaction handling
  • Strong computer and AV technology skills
  • Flexibility with hours, including mornings, nights, and weekends
  • Current RSA and RCG certification
