Leadership Opportunity in Medication Safety

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. As a key member of the leadership group, you will play a vital role in championing safe medication practices across the hospital.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead initiatives such as Medication Safety Walkarounds and oversee the Safe Use of Medicines Committee.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading medication safety initiatives and quality improvement projects in a hospital setting.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote safe and effective medication use.
  • Overseeing governance processes such as the Safe Use of Medicines Committee and contributing to incident reviews and policy development.
  • Supporting compliance with NSQHS Standard 4 and participating in clinical leadership activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced pharmacist to take on a leadership role and contribute to improving patient care.
