Leadership Role in Neuroscience Medicine

The Director of Medical Science for Neuroscience is a critical position that oversees the development and implementation of impactful medical strategies and initiatives.

This role provides strategic guidance and oversight of medical affairs, ensuring the highest standards of medical excellence, compliance, and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the medical strategy in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the medical affairs team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, medical experts, and healthcare professionals to gather insights and support scientific exchange.
  • Oversee clinical development programs and research activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of clinical trials and data analysis.
  • Represent the organization at medical conferences, scientific meetings, and healthcare forums, engaging with healthcare organizations and patient advocacy groups to contribute to healthcare policy development.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD) or equivalent, with specialization in a relevant therapeutic area.
  • Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) in a scientific or healthcare-related field is desirable.
  • Substantial experience in medical affairs or clinical development within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent understanding of medical and regulatory requirements, including clinical trial design, pharmacovigilance, and compliance.
