Job Title: Video Editor

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Video Editor to join our team in Sydney. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and accurate video content across a range of programs, including digital and streaming platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit material for news broadcasts, including voiceovers, grabs, overlay, and packages.
  • Compile vision for archive and ensure edited material is delivered correctly and on time.
  • Escalate any potential technical problems to the Supervisor or engineering team.
  • Ensure all edited material is delivered to a high technical standard and within strict deadlines.
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in media, TV production, or communications.
  • Proficiency in editing software; AVID Media Composer experience is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge of media file formats and compression codecs.
  • A dedicated, professional, and proactive approach with excellent communication skills.
