About the Role

The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director Operations, QLD to lead the agency's intelligence operations function in QLD. This pivotal leadership role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including domestic law enforcement partner agencies, the National Intelligence Community, and international law enforcement stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the operational prioritization of agency capability and team direction.
  • Deliver complex operational projects to discover, understand, and respond to serious and organized crime threats to Australia.
  • Apply coercive and other legislative powers, as well as leading-edge techniques with capabilities that are data-driven and globally focused.
  • Ensure the ACIC is effective in providing mission-critical intelligence to partners to enable them to disrupt and dismantle serious and organized crime impacting Australia.
  • Lead a diverse team adhering to common operating practices throughout the ACIC and ensuring activities are conducted with proper and sound governance.
Requirements
  • Work as part of a national executive-level leadership team to prioritize and deliver operations in a coordinated way.
  • Demonstrate experience, skills, and attributes that align with the ACIC's values and goals.
