Job Description:
Keighran Legal + Advisory is a commercial law firm recognised nationally for excellence in client care and service. We specialise in supporting the real estate, hotels and construction industries (including dispute resolution), with a leading reputation in complex property and hotel transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with commercial property transactions from start to finish - with supervision as needed.
- Preparing and reviewing contracts, option deeds, leases, and other legal documents.
- Managing settlements through PEXA, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Liaising with stamping agents for Office of State Revenue requirements.
- Working across the team in a collaborative way.
- Liaising with clients, agents, banks, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
About You:
- 2-6 years of post-qualification experience as a lawyer.
- Proven experience in property law, with a solid understanding of property transactions.
- Proficiency with the PEXA platform is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to pass knowledge to junior team members.
