About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Fresh Manager to join our Fresh Food Team at Woolworths Group. As an Assistant Fresh Manager, you will play a key role in leading and supporting the Fresh Team to deliver a consistently good offer on our Fresh range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Fresh Team Manager to lead and coach the Fresh Team to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Support the Fresh Team to deliver a consistently good offer on our Fresh range, including managing stock levels, inventory, and product displays.
  • Collaborate with the Fresh Team to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the Fresh Team to achieve sales and customer service targets, and to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail or food industry role, with a focus on customer service and team leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, days, and late nights, across a fortnightly rotational roster.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
