Environmental Specialist

Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Ecologist to work on impactful projects, collaborating with professionals and botanists.
- Manage ecological projects;
- Lead field assessments and ensure compliance;
- Prepare technical reports;
- Guide clients through environmental regulations;
- Contribute to ecological survey innovations.
A BAM Accredited Ecologist or a Senior Ecologist with ambitions to become accredited is preferred. We also consider candidates who have delivered BDARs and are motivated to achieve the accreditation. A tailored salary package will be considered.
Strong botany and fauna ID skills and deep understanding of NSW biodiversity regulations are required. Proven experience delivering ecological assessments and gaining regulatory approvals is essential. Skilled in preparing BDARs, BSSARs, and vegetation integrity plots. Excellent communication and report writing skills.
