Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Brave Psychology. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based psychological interventions, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and adhering to our values of authenticity, connection, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide evidence-based psychological interventions to clients.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with our multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, therapists, and support staff, to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct risk assessments, develop harm minimization strategies, and provide referrals and treatment as needed.
  • Program Development and Evaluation: Develop and evaluate programs to ensure they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, including program reports and assessment reports.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree-qualified psychologist with registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) – Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in working with children, adolescents, and their families, with a strong understanding of mental health issues impacting this population.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
