With over 40 hubs across Australia, we provide Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Positive Behaviour Supports, Early Childhood Supports, and Habit Coaches to make inclusion possible for all Australians.
About the RoleAs a Habit Coach at Everyday Independence, you will support NDIS participants in Northern Melbourne and surrounding areas. You will work at participants' homes or community locations, driving to/from sessions. You will support participants across all ages and stages of life, working under the guidance of the primary therapist to enable participants to develop greater independence and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Implement therapy plans provided by primary therapists
- Support participants in achieving their goals, such as independence, healthy habits, and social engagement
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality support
- Studying a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year)
- OR completed a Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance or an equivalent qualification with demonstrated experience in a similar position
- Consistent and ongoing availability to work, including minimum two days a week to support participants during afternoon routines
- Valid Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle
- NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children's Check
- Continuous Learning: Guidance and support from industry-leading Allied Health professionals
