About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Habit Coach to join our team at Everyday Independence. As a Habit Coach, you will play a vital part in enabling NDIS participants in Western Melbourne and surrounding areas to develop greater independence and work towards reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support NDIS participants in their daily routines and activities.
  • Work under the guidance of the primary therapist to implement therapy plans and achieve participant goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with participants, their families, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Be studying a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year) or have completed a Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have consistent and ongoing availability to work, including minimum two (2) days a week to support participants during their afternoon routines.
  • Be available to travel to regional/surrounding areas.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence, empathy, and a passion for working within the disability sector.
