Network Co-ordinator

Job Summary:

Service Stream is seeking a Network Co-ordinator to join our Power division. This role involves co-ordinating, planning, surveying and designing outage requirements for pole replacements in the Sydney area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify network configuration through field visits
  • Use Ausgrid's WEBGIS, NECF and IT systems
  • Prepare NARs (network access requests)
  • Plan switching requirements for high and low voltage
  • Plan outage areas and customer impact interruptions
  • Book district operators and restricted operators for switching
  • Liaise with Ausgrid district operator control room
  • Create schematics for outage areas, including earthing points for high and low voltage
  • Liaise with Servicestream engineers and project staff planning scope of works for outages

Requirements:

Preferred but not mandatory would be an engineering background or similar. This position would also suit a line worker looking for career progression into an office role programming and co-ordinating works needing outages and switching of Ausgrid's distribution network.
