We are seeking a skilled Fitter and Turner to support the fabrication, machining, assembly, maintenance, and repair of precision mechanical systems and components.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate lathes, milling machines, and other machine tools to accurately fabricate mechanical parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal machinery performance and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnostics and perform necessary repairs or part replacements to restore equipment functionality.
  • Fabricate and machine precision parts to specification in cooperation with design and development teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to deliver improvements.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and modifications performed.
  • Use hand and power tools safely, efficiently, and in accordance with operational procedures.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting and Turning) or equivalent trade qualification.
  • Experience as a Fitter and Turner, Technician, or similar role, ideally in a regulated and/or high precision manufacturing environment.
  • Skilled in machining, fitting, and fabrication using workshop tools and equipment.
  • Desirable experience with injection moulding maintenance.
  • Confident in reading and understanding technical drawings.
  • Ideal familiarity with CNC machining/milling and 3D printing technologies.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a practical, solution-focused mindset.
  • Hands-on, reliable, and collaborative, with a strong commitment to teamwork and safety.
