About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Costing and Systems Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing standard costs, optimizing our ERP system, and ensuring alignment with operational needs in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and review standard costs for raw materials, manufacturing overheads, and labor.
  • Administer and support the ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with business processes.
  • Maintain supplier and item setup, including price increases on raw materials.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and issue resolution for the ERP system.
  • Create and maintain documentation for internal processes and systems, ensuring compliance.
  • Maintain costing models for new product development and assist with annual budget updates.
  • Analyse production costs and recommend improvements for efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience with an ERP system, preferably within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Strong background in systems administration, including configuration and support of finance/accounting applications.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and their integration with ERP systems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Cost Accounting, ideally in an FMCG environment.
  • Advanced Excel modelling and data analysis skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to pivot between tasks as required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder management ability.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
