About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic professional to join our team as a Lecturer in Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering, and coordinating courses within our undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Management disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the quality of Unit courses through course review and development
- Investigate and develop innovative teaching methods and the initiation and development of high-quality materials to support student learning and engagement
- Provide academic counselling and advice to students in a professional and timely manner
- Support the Academic Unit's and University's teaching and learning initiatives in ways that will enhance the student experience
- Contribute to scholarly activity, independently and/or as a member of a team, which enhances scholarly teaching practice and maintains currency with the discipline/profession
Essential Skills and Experience
- Relevant doctoral degree/studies or a postgraduate qualification (at least one level higher than the program taught) and professional experience
- Skills in contemporary teaching, learning and assessment with a demonstrated ability to undertake teaching duties including the design and preparation of teaching activities and resources
- Current and relevant knowledge of developments in the discipline informed by continuing scholarship and/or continuing industry engagement
- High level written and oral communication skills including demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with team members, external parties and colleagues
