We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Site Engineer / Project Coordinator for a commercial building contractor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate seeking progression and development who wants to be site-based on a complex project in Western Sydney.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Develop and implement Integrated Technical Procedures (ITPs) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Assist with programming and design coordination, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
- Establish, maintain, and monitor project quality standards, processes, and procedures to ensure excellence.
- Ensure compliance is met and maintained throughout the project, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Manage and liaise with subcontractors, clients, and consultants to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation and reports, ensuring a safe working environment.
**Requirements:**
- Completed a Construction Management or Engineering degree from a reputable institution.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in Australia for a head contractor, with a strong understanding of commercial building projects.
- Experience on government or commercial projects is highly advantageous.
- Strong technical and organizational skills, with excellent communication and people management skills.
- Ability to read plans and work to the project program.
