Community Development Coordinator

Panthers Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and community-focused individual to join our team as a Community Development Coordinator. This role will play a key part in driving a positive impact on our community through programs, events, and campaigns.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of community development principles and practices, with experience in large-scale events and community programs. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the delivery of programs and initiatives within the Foundation's three pillars: education, community, and participation.
  • Support club activities that are integrated into local community activities.
  • Coordinate player appearances across business and supervise player appearances within the community space.
  • Administer and report on all programs within the Foundation Pillars.
  • Work closely with the Foundation & Community team on implementing new program development and business plans.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education in sports/management/community; significant work experience can substitute for the degree.
  • Experience in large-scale events.
  • Experience with community programs.
  • Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision.
  • Ability to assist with multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff and volunteers.
