Project Overview

Our research group at Monash University is seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to work on a project focused on developing methods for self-tuning photonic circuits. The project aims to harness the development of optical microcombs to enable complex photonic functionality involving many elements on a single chip.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and characterize photonic chips using various techniques
  • Develop and implement methods for self-tuning photonic circuits
  • Collaborate with local academics and industry partners

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related disciplines
  • Strong background in optics, photonics, and/or communications engineering
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
