Key Role for a Dedicated Speech Therapist

You will work closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through culturally inclusive education-focused therapy.

The Position:
  • Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions in school environments.
  • Work collaboratively with educators to embed effective communication strategies.
  • Provide professional development and upskilling opportunities for school staff.
  • Offer support with assistive technology, documentation, and funding applications.
  • Build relationships with students, families, and community leaders.
  • Attend regular school visits, meetings, and supervision sessions.

A flexible working arrangement is available, including working from schools, community hubs, or from home.

Requirements:
  • Speech Pathology degree and SPA registration (or eligibility).
  • Working With Children Check / Blue Card, NDIS Check, Police Check.
  • Driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Cultural inclusion experience (preferably held).
  • Indemnity and public liability insurance.
