About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Medical Affairs Manager to join GlaxoSmithKline's innovative Vaccines team. As a key strategic role, you will bring medical leadership and technical expertise to the medical affairs team and other internal business partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute medical strategy and tactics to support GSK's objectives
  • Engage with external experts to facilitate scientific dialogue
  • Lead strategic medical projects, collaborating with colleagues across GSK and external stakeholders to support patient outcomes
  • Provide medical expertise for scientific submissions and promotional activities
  • Be part of and provide leadership to the launch excellence team that continues to bring the GSK pipeline to patients
About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a well-networked and strategic medical manager with knowledge and expertise in Vaccines. You will also have:

  • The ability to use medical knowledge to transition between therapeutic areas
  • Proven experience in engaging with specialists and healthcare providers
  • Experience leading highly technical teams
  • High levels of ethics and integrity putting the patient at the heart of all decisions
