Out of School Hours Care Assistant Coordinator

This role is ideal for an educator looking to step up and gain experience as an Assistant Coordinator.

Job Description

The Assistant Coordinator plays a vital support role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Out of School Hours Care service. Working closely with the busy Coordinator, this individual will be responsible for overseeing daily tasks and helping to manage the centre on a day-to-day basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who has been in the childcare industry for a couple of years and is eager to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working within an Out of School Hours Care setting (preferred) or long day care setting;
  • A positive mindset and ability to develop warm and respectful relationships with families and children;
  • Must have a long-term commitment to our centre;
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, Child Protection training (or willing to obtain);

Schedule

Permanent part-time position - 35 hours during school terms and 38 hours per week during school holiday period.
