Lead a Passionate Team in Out of School Hours Care

Job Description:

As the Centre Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading a vibrant team of Educators and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Out of School Hours (OOSH) centre. Your role will involve ensuring a warm, caring, and engaging environment for children, staff, and families.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, be passionate about working with children, and have excellent communication skills. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Educators to provide high-quality care and education to primary school-aged children.
  • Develop and implement innovative programming that meets the needs of children and families.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to build strong relationships and promote the service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a children's service, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate a team and lead change initiatives.
