Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Water and Utilities team. As an Estimator, you'll have the opportunity to work with world-class clients on cutting-edge projects and build a successful career with a company that offers the highest levels of support at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and expenditure profiles for projects and work packages.
  • Coordinate and produce feasibility studies and multi-tier cost reports.
  • Undertake key tendering and procurement activities, including establishing pre-qualification stage requirements, preparation of pre-tender estimates, tender analysis, tender reports, and the compilation of contractual documents.
  • Deep analysis and assessment of cost estimates and forecasts provided by contractors and the supply chain.
  • Apply estimating and cost planning activities, including producing and presenting a final cost plan.

Requirements

  • Currently in Australia with full working rights.
  • A recognised Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management desired.
  • MRICS / AIQS accreditation ideal.
  • Key relevant Water, Utilities, and Infrastructure experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in the industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of CostX, Unifer, Ecosys, Candy, or other equivalent tools.
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
  • Highly motivated and passionate individual, showing a clear ability to deliver great outcomes for clients.
